Was this always around?

This love that we found?

Or our own creation?

Destiny’s deviation?

Just the way the stars align?

Some flaw in the grand design?

Is it how it should be?

Is it something we shouldn’t mention?

Are we crazy NOT to question?

Were we walking at the wrong pace?

Can these missteps be retraced?

Can all these mistakes be collected?

And submitted for one great correction?

If he made me for you

Why didn’t god let me choose?

He better give me back my free will

If he expects me to “Be Still”

If he withholds it

I’ll go demand it
