Anosmia in the bakery
I thought nothing could awaken me
Then the scent I could not resist
Realization that bread exists!
Strange how smell raises memories
Like dough and reactivated yeasts
And as if I knew, I tasted her
Maybe because I am amazed by her
I feel our bodies inside that bed, I pretend
As soft and warm as that fresh baked brioche bread
It all just seemed to make sense
Sensory overload in that fragrance
But I snap out of my stupor
Shocked!
I shouldn't feel this way
When I found her
Locked!
Under that glass bakery display
